Refuge: Warwickshire’s Domestic Violence and Abuse Service
If you are experiencing domestic abuse of any kind in Warwickshire, Refuge’s regional Domestic Violence and Abuse Service can support you and your children to keep safe.
Our local service offers:
- Refuge accommodation for those fleeing domestic abuse and in need of a safe place to stay.
- Independent domestic violence advocates (IDVAs) to support. anyone, regardless of gender, who is at high risk of serious harm.
- Outreach support to meet anyone experiencing domestic abuse where they are — at home, or at a safe place in the community — to provide confidential support.
- A group programme for women focusing on the dynamics of domestic abuse.
- Security such as locks, door chains, a spy hole, or other devices to a survivor’s home.
- Drop-in services, held at locations across Warwickshire, to give clients the opportunity to meet with our outreach team.

Domestic Abuse Counselling Service
The Domestic Abuse Counselling Service works to reduce domestic abuse by providing free therapeutic intervention, working one-to-one with victims of domestic abuse from a ‘preventative perspective’ providing therapy that educates – with the purpose of increasing safety and reducing the risk of repeat victimisation. DACS services are provided from safe, accessible locations across Warwickshire.

The Family Intervention Counselling Service (FICS) are a specialist counselling agency based in Warwickshire. We work with families and individuals who have experienced domestic abuse.

Listening Ear – DiAmond Counselling and Therapy Service
Listening Ear – DiAmond Counselling and Therapy Service is now accepting referrals for all victim-survivors of domestic abuse who would like counselling and therapy sessions. The trauma informed service is a free to access and confidential service, available for all victim-survivors who are engaging with Refuge / The Warwickshire Domestic Violence and Abuse Service. The service offers both face-to-face and virtual appointments (as determined by the victim-survivor) for up to 10 sessions with group sessions after the completion of the 10 sessions.

Rights of Women

Safeline
Safeline offers free specialist, independent, tailored support to people aged 3+ affected by sexual abuse and rape.
